A few days at Disneyland Paris

My love of Disney is still going strong at eighteen. I just think it's the place of dreams *cliche alert* but it really is. It reminds me of going there when I was little and shows me that I do still love the same things as I still gravitate towards the same rights - it's a Small World, Buzz Lightyear and Pirates of the Carribean I'm talking about you...

We started off in the Disney Studios with the special effects train, Toystory land and Stitch Live - which we were definitley too old for but it was hilarious watching people being picked on by Stitch. I just loved walking around the different zones because they are just made so well and amazing to look at. I basically annoyed my boyfriend by taking a million photos - not cool - but I did queue up with him so he could go on the scarier rollercoasters because I'm such a nice girlfriend clearly. I finally plucked up the courage to go on Armageddon after being mortified by it as a child because I was terrified of fire and as far as four year old me was concerned, I was trapped in a room that was exploding. I went on it kind of expecting to laugh at my younger self for being scared but it actually justified my fear because it is pretty scary to be honest.
The first evening, we ate at the Rainforest Cafe in the Disney Village which was quite cool with the gorillas kicking off every few minutes and the lights dimming in fake rainstorms I guess? FYI if you ever go to the rainforest cafe have the chocolate lava cake, you will not regret it. We went into the Disney park in the evening for a few rides and got a good spot, right in front of the castle for the firework show which was just so beautiful. Normally I'm not a massive fan of fireworks but I just love how they project stuff on the castle and make them fit with the story (you'll see what I mean in the video.)

Disney day two we made ourselves get up really early to make the most of it. We both purchased the obligatory Minnie and Mickey mouse ears before heading into the parks. We went on our favourite rides like Buzz Lightyear numerous times and wondered around the castle. We had lunch at Earl of Sandwich in the Disney Village which was so darn good. I still remember my La Frenchie and If I was rich enough I'd probably fly there regularly just to pick up a sandwich. Bring Earl of Sandwich to the UK! Enough of that ahem. We saw the car stunt show in Disney studios, went on a few more rides, somehow lost my sunglasses *sob* and then went for our final dinner at Planet Hollywood - my fave. Okay I seem to go on about food waaaay too much. But seriously though the Texas Tostadas there are possibly my favourite food in the whole world. I thought they didn't do them anymore and nearly cried but it's all good they've just changed their name to wontons or something. Then we browsed around numerous gift shops because we discovered that we seem to both love giftshops and went back to the hotel.

So our Disney adventures were great and I want to go back already, maybe to one in California or Orlando or something in a few years. Hmm that sounds like a plan! Thank You for reading. I hope that if you were thinking of going to Disney this might help you plan what to do and the most important thing what to eat...
