As you may know if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter that it was my 18th Birthday recently. It thought that I'd do a post with photos from the weekend. I woke up to presents and freshy baked pan au chocolat not a bad way to wake up. I finally got my Olivia Burton watch which is just the most beautiful amazing present I could have asked for. My birthday was on the Saturday so we went up to London. We went to Covent Garden first, saw a few street entertainers, had a compulsory look in the disney store and of course a trip to Laduree for some birthday macarons.
For lunch, we ate at Planet Hollywood which was SO good. I had an epic amount of tostadas for starters which I remember loving at Planet Hollywood from our starter platter when we went to Orlando. Yes, food truly is that important in my life that it becomes part of my fond memories like this one. So if you go to Planet Hollywood, order the Texas tostadas for your starter or even just loads of them for your main (which I did find very tempting.) For main I think I had a cheese and bacon burger with chips which was spot on.
After that, we walked to Oxford Street for a good ol' b'day shop. We only had about an hour so I was frantically running around between Topshop, H&M, Miss Selfridge and back again. In H&M I picked up a few cute vest tops and a hoodie (I'm sure that I will do a haul post or something soon) and in Miss Selfridge, I purchased some cute floral framed sunglasses and a leather biker jacket in the most beautiful shade of baby blue and I just love it so much.
Then after we got home, I just had some friends round in the evening to celebrate. We had cake, seriously how good is my Mum at cake making? My friends and boyfriend gave me a Pandora leather plaited bracelet with the Daisy, 'E' and 18 charms. Then with some of my birthday money I got the hamsa hand charm which is just so sparkly and cute. So yes, I had a great birthday and would like to thank everyone for all the birthday messages.
Thanks for reading, Ells xx

Happy belated birthday!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a wonderful day. There's not much better than time spent with friends, family, good food and presents! Your mum's cake is so pretty as well - I had to scroll back up to have another look (which has also just made me really, really want a slice!).
